ePriceo What does Free Delivery Area mean ?

Orders over $60 are eligible for free delivery on a free delivery run. This includes cakes.

We deliver to most areas of Sydney on set runs on set days. This includes most of the South, North, North West and West Suburbs

If we do not deliver to your Suburb, and you are in the Sydney area, there is a  courier charge of $20-$37. Monday to Friday.

Once you are in one of our free delivery runs, we will send you a reminder sms letting you know we are delivering in your area, and reminding you to put your order in.

If you are in a capital city and ordering frozen Main Courses your delivery will be made by overnight courier to your door. ($30-$37)

If you live in country orders, you will need to contact us to organise and discuss minimums and costs.

We will always try and send you your order at the cheapest possible price, depending on your order circumstances and address.

When is my free delivery?

Most inner Sydney deliveries are done every 2 weeks. Outer suburbs are usually done every 4.

If you cannot find your suburb here, or you do not want to order our minimum $60 for a free delivery, you can still have Sassy Treats delivered to your door for $20 (check your suburb here) Sydney Metro area

Because life gets busy, we will send you a reminder email or SMS to let you know your run is on, and when we are coming. This gives you one less thing to worry about

Cake delivery and pick up.

Cakes are not delivered on weekends.

Cakes can be delivered on a free delivery run if the order meets the minimum delivery requirement.

They can also be delivered same day by courier (price is always on Application).

Cakes can be delivered overnight frozen (for interestate of) tues- Fri. 

Cakes can be picked up from Camperdown 2050 by appointment.

Why do orders have to be placed by 3.00 pm the night before delivery day ?

Sometimes we are lucky enough to have someone in the office, however, usually; we have started packing orders for the next day by 3.00 pm. All orders are taken to the warehouse and placed on delivery boards where treats are then packed awaiting Main Courses to be added in the morning. Sometimes staff can be out of office until late in the morning.

Worried you will order too much or not enough?

It can certainly take a few weeks for you to work out what your pet will really need. We are very happy to discuss portion sizes and options with you personally.

All main courses are frozen when made, and treats will stay fresh for weeks!, so even if you have a little left over: your order will not spoil! Many customers start out ordering exactly what they want and when.. and end up on our standing order service. We never predict your order and will always send you an SMS or email confirming your needs before we bring anything or assume you want a delivery.

Standing orders as an option.

You can set up a standing order that we will send to you, on your free delivery day if you haven’t placed an order 3.00 pm .Lots of customers have it set up that we send ‘the same order as last week’, or spend the same amount of money on the same type of things (for example: $80 worth of mains, $10 of chewy treats and $10 worth of bones”.. and let us do the thinking for you!….

If you’re not home on delivery

Most of our clients are not home to receive their deliveries. If ordering frozen Main Courses, your order will be left in a foam box, somewhere pre arranged or safe so your order stays fresh until you get home. We have a had contactless service for 21 years.

If you live in a security block, we can organise to keep a key to get through that gate, or contemplate having your order delivered to work.

Still worried?: please feel free to pick up by appointment. The appointment is necessary as staff are in and out of the premises and sometimes doing animal things way out of Sydney. So: we like to be able to put your order out for you to pick up.

Foam Boxes

After you have put your order away, we ask that you put your foam box in a dry, clean place, and then leave it out again when we deliver to you next. We do not charge you for your box. If however, we must replace the box due to damage it will cost between $5 and $10 to replace your box (depending on your order). If you have just forgotten to put your box out, we will gently remind you next order around…

Sassy Treats is committed to environmental issues so reclaiming the foam boxes is a priority for us, as not all councils collect or recycle these boxes, and they end up as land fill if not returned/ disposed of properly.

Public Holidays

Over the many years we have been delivering to customers,, we have found that many people take advantage of the long weekends/ holidays, to go away. Therefore, we will either deliver a day either side of the usual day. We will always let you know on our reminder delivery email.
